Our Team
Townend Developments Ltd remains family-led and directly managed. Every project is overseen by
experienced leadership
and supported by practical, on-site expertise across generations.
Managing Director · Founder
Phil founded this business in Wraysbury in 1980 and has been on site ever since. Forty-four years, thirty-plus projects, and a standard that has never moved. From Old School Court's 25 homes to Mulberry House's luxury specification in Stoke Poges, every project carries his direct involvement and his personal accountability. His philosophy has never changed: build every home as though you are building it for yourself.
Co-Founder · Company Secretary · In Loving Memory
Mary co-founded this business alongside Philip and was central to everything it became. She managed the operational side, built lasting client relationships, and established the culture of warmth and personal care that still defines how we work today. She passed away in 2021, and her influence is felt in every project we carry her name into.
Company Secretary · Interior Design Lead · 2nd Generation
Phil's daughter and the second generation of Townend Developments. Debbie leads on interior specification and client coordination, ensuring every home is finished to a standard that reflects the client's life, not a showroom. She also runs the operational backbone of the business, keeping communication, contracts, and project management as precise as the builds themselves.
Bricklayer · Groundworks · 3rd Generation
Phil's grandson and Debbie's son. Joseph completed his NVQ in bricklaying and construction before joining the company in 2024. He is on site every day, learning directly from over four decades of family expertise and building to the same standard that has defined Townend Developments since 1980.
Bricklayer · Groundworks · 3rd Generation
Joe's brother and the fifth member of the Townend family in the business. Billy completed his NVQ qualifications in bricklaying and construction in 2024 and brought with him a natural precision on site that goes beyond his years. Alongside his brother Joe, Billy handles groundworks and structural bricklaying, the foundational work that determines the integrity of everything built above it.
